junior ux designer

Masabi is looking for a talented user experience (UX) designer to come on board and help bring our apps to life. This will also be someone with creative vision, who can apply their skills to enrich and develop the company’s evolving visual identity.

activities

  • Support UX Senior Designer on creating and implementing UI features that drive the visual identity of multiplatform apps.
    • Design, edit and redesign art assets for different formats and platforms matching existing art styles.
    • Work with multidisciplinary teams to create UI tests to support and refine apps.
    • Create and produce artwork as needed by developers and engineering.
  • Support marketing department.
    • Advertising – creating new adverts for use in printed media, on app stores, plus provide advertising suggestions for mTicketing app adverts
    • Website design – designing images and logos for the website, as well as overall designs for the website’s look and feel

preferred qualifications

  • Ideally UI experience or a recent college graduate with knowledge and understanding of UI related principles.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant art tools.
  • Desirable, not essential, knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and internet UI
  • Excellent graphic design skills: sketching/wireframing/storyboarding abilities on paper/screen
  • Strong understanding of the effective use of colour and composition
  • Portfolio must illustrate strong UI skills, and graphic design skills
