Our JustRide mTicket applications mean that waiting in line for tickets is a thing of the past for customers whilst agencies are able to drastically reduce the cost of their operations. Our first major client was Boston in 2012. In 2014 we rolled out mobile ticketing to Athens and this year we\u2019re doing the same in New York as well as other major global cities.<\/p>\n<p>The JustRide platform consists of a server API driving mobile applications, a graphical back-office UI and provides secure web ticketing sales. It will also be doing some fairly involved fraud analysis, related analytics and number crunching. It handles multiple thousands of payment transactions a day and over $60 million in revenue went through the platform in 2015 \u2013 a figure which will increase significantly in 2016.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><b>What will you be doing as our Front End Developer?<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nWorking on a large, high quality codebase implementing exciting new features to be rolled out to customers across the world. Ensuring high standards by comprehensive unit and end to end testing, constantly improving and upgrading code and ensuring we are working to the latest standards, best practices and utilising up to date frameworks. Working closely with a cross-discipline team to deliver robust and reusable components originating from product requirements through UX, design, development, and quality assurance. Being pro-active within our team and contributing to code reviews, passing on expertise and technical roadmapping.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><b>Tools we use<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Angular \/ Ionic \/ d3.js \/ Cordova<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ES6 \/ Babel \/ TypeScript \/ Node.js \/ SCSS \/ LESS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gulp \/ Protractor \/ Jasmine \/ Karma<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Android \/ iOS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jira \/ Bamboo \/ Git<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RESTful JSON backend (Java \/ MySQL \/ AWS)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Great if you\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience working as a JavaScript developer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong OOP language background (e.g.C#\/Java\/Ruby\/Obj-C\/C++).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, OOP and functional programming.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework, ideally AngularJS.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with CSS, HTML5 across multiple browsers and devices.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Significant working experience with \u2013 and a desire to work using \u2013 agile methodologies (e.g. Kanban, XP, Scrum, Continuous Delivery).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with automated testing (e.g. TDD\/BDD &#038; related tools).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience building hybrid mobile apps (e.g. Cordova \/ Ionic).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with iOS &#038; Android development.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Who we are!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Masabi is the global leader in mobile ticketing and fare collection for transportation.
