This stereotype refers to obstacles and separation between QA and Developers. The end result is tension within the team, owing to many issues such as a breakdown of communication. <\/p>\n<p>Here at Masabi we disagree with this stereotype. Our QA\u2019s are an integral part of our teams, working alongside our product managers and developers to assure quality and completeness. QA is the  heart and soul of ensuring that the capabilities which we are providing to our customers are as seamless and bug free as possible. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What will you be doing as our Quality Analyst?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a QA at Masabi, you will be the key component of ensuring that the quality of our products is the responsibility of the team.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of applications and services including mobile apps, back office apps, APIs, databases, and even embedded software running the hardware readers that we fit to buses or station gates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We follow agile principles, which means we regularly ship updates to our customers for pre checks and production. You will therefore be responsible for feature and regression testing these updates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Dev and QA teams are given the power to deploy to our pre-production customer environment, which is the way it should be.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Devops is also something which we think is wonderful, however; we do not forget about QA in this. As a QA you will have valuable input into how we can improve our products and environment config. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will also have access to the chance to play with environment config in your very own test environment, to ensure that we find and squash as many of those bugs as we can.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our test coverage consists of manual and automated testing.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><b>Some tools we use:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Testrail<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selenium<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Appium<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Protractor<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Puppet<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bamboo<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MySQL Workbench.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Charles Proxy<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HockeyApp<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Postman<\/span><\/li>\n<p><b>Great if you have\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Impeccable attention to detail.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with mobile testing and an understanding of major mobile OSs \u2013 particularly iOS &#038; Android.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some programming experience (in any language).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working experience with \u2013 and a desire to work using \u2013 agile methodologies (e.g. Kanban, XP, Scrum, Continuous Delivery).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working experience in cross-functional development teams.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working experience with mobile automated testing frameworks.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).<\/span><\/li>\n<p><b>Even better if you have\u2026\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience working within the public transportation sector.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience working with, and testing embedded solutions such as train station gates.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><b>Who we are!<\/b><br \/>\nMasabi is the world\u2019s leading provider of mobile ticketing solutions for the transport industry.
