Masabi\u2019s first deployment in Italy delivers cloud-native mobile ticketing platform for bus services in the city of Potenza<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Potenza, Italy and London, UK, 25 april 2023 – Bus Miccolis<\/a>,<\/strong> the Italian bus operator serving cities across the regions of Southern Italy, has today announced that it has launched a next-generation mobile ticketing system in the city of Potenza, delivered by Municipia<\/a><\/strong> and powered by Masabi<\/a>, <\/strong>the award-winning Fare Payments as a Service provider. The deployment is the first of its kind for Masabi in Italy, and the first with Municipia, part of the Engineering Group, a leader in process digitalization for companies and public administration.<\/p>\n

The new Mobility Ticket app will enable Bus Miccolis passengers to purchase tickets anytime, anywhere, and have them available at the click of a button \u2013 increasing convenience and also speeding up the boarding process reducing bus dwell time at stops \u2013 meaning more convenient and faster journeys for passengers.<\/p>\n

Bus Miccolis users can pre-purchase tickets for future use or purchase a ticket on the day of travel. When waiting to board the bus, riders simply activate their tickets or passes and then display their activated tickets when boarding.<\/p>\n
