Previously, RTD was the first agency within the pioneering EZHub \/ Vamos App network to install Masabi\u2019s Justride Validators onboard vehicles, setting a regional standard for fare modernization. Now, it becomes the first agency in the network to introduce Open Payments, delivering faster, easier, and more accessible<br \/>\ntransit experiences.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mce-hs-more\" style=\"height: 20px !important;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With fare capping automatically applied, riders will never pay more than $1.50 per day or $65 per month, ensuring equitable access to the best fares. Through account linking, riders can connect their contactless card to their account to access discounts or concessions, view trip and payment history, and manage preferences via the RTD\u2019s JustRide web portal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: auto; max-width: 100%; width: 650px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; display: block;\" src=\"https:\/\/823172.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/823172\/graphic_nologos.jpg\" alt=\"graphic_nologos\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRTD has consistently led in its adoption of new fare technologies, and the introduction of Open Payments builds on that legacy,\u201d said <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Brian Zanghi, CEO<\/span> at Masabi. \u201cBy becoming the first agency within the EZHub ecosystem to offer contactless payment options and fare capping, RTD is joining transit agencies across the US in 2025 who are realizing a best-in-class rider experience with Open Payments, one that\u2019s quick to<br \/>\ndeploy, equitable and efficient for all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>RTD serves Stockton, California, and surrounding communities including Lodi, Manteca, Tracy, Ripon, Thornton, French Camp, and Lathrop.
