The \u2018skill\u2019 is designed to enhance bus user experience in Nottingham for anyone with an Alexa device.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nottingham City Transport and the Passenger team have a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverpassenger.com\/2019\/01\/25\/customer-story-nottingham-city-transport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">history<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of working collaboratively, sharing insights and endorsing equality for all when it comes to passenger technology. Adding Alexa Voice Assistant to our suite of Passenger products means we have another option for those who find speech and auditory response an easier way to check services and plan their journey\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nottingham City Transport view accessibility as a priority. NCT and the Passenger team both recognise that releasing this product will allow users who may struggle with dexterity and mobility from a vast number of ailments and disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dave Hulbert<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Engineering Director of Passenger said<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe&#8217;re always looking for ways to help operators get the most value from the data they are producing. Technology and how we use it is ever-changing and evolving, so a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverpassenger.com\/2019\/01\/16\/voice-technology-integral-future-bus-travel\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Passenger Alexa skill<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for travel updates and information was the obvious next addition to the Passenger product suite.
