{"id":4714,"date":"2019-08-29T14:40:42","date_gmt":"2019-08-29T13:40:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/discoverpassenger.com.temp.link\/?p=4714"},"modified":"2026-08-07T07:26:00","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T06:26:00","slug":"east-yorkshire-website-relaunch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.masabi.com\/es\/news\/east-yorkshire-website-relaunch\/","title":{"rendered":"East Yorkshire website gets Passenger re-launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the continued success of the East Yorkshire buses app, the team at Passenger are thrilled to announce the launch of a new East Yorkshire website, built on its Passenger Cloud digital service platform. <\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">East Yorkshire commissioned the website following the consistently strong performance of its Passenger apps over the last two years. The apps are rated 4.8* average ratings across iOS and Android devices, making them some of the highest-rated bus apps in the market.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As well as providing all the features passengers use every day within the mobile apps, the new website is already saving East Yorkshire\u2019s marketing and commercial teams plenty of time. Using the same data feeds as the apps, the team now only need to manage service changes, disruption information and content updates once.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The addition of Passenger\u2019s Live Buses module, to both the new website and existing apps, is already giving customers the confidence of knowing where their bus is and when it\u2019s going to arrive.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"910\" height=\"1024\" class=\"wp-image-12733\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masabi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/east-yorkshire-website-ipad-portrait-910x1024-1.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.masabi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/east-yorkshire-website-ipad-portrait-910x1024-1.png 910w, https:\/\/www.masabi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/east-yorkshire-website-ipad-portrait-910x1024-1-267x300.png 267w, https:\/\/www.masabi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/east-yorkshire-website-ipad-portrait-910x1024-1-768x864.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 910px) 100vw, 910px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new website is the latest step in the company\u2019s rebrand, which began earlier this year led by industry stalwarts Best Impressions. The rebrand has seen the operator become \u2018East Yorkshire\u2019, from East Yorkshire Motor Services, along with a \u00a36m investment into 27 new low-emission buses.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Claire Robinson, Marketing Manager at East Yorkshire, says:<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-quote\">\r\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\r\n<p>\u201cWe were really pleased with how the development of our new website went and how we managed to produce and launch a full site in a relatively short period of time.<\/p>\r\n<p>The support we received from the team at Passenger was fantastic, making the full process run smoothly. Regular, scheduled calls kept everything on track, with actions and requests being dealt with promptly, even on things which we thought might be a big job.<\/p>\r\n<p>The website itself will make it far easier for our passengers to find the information they need to help them travel, as well as making it simple for new or infrequent bus users to find everything they need to know about using the bus. New features, which also link directly with our smartphone app, will also allow people to plan their journey better, see where their bus is in real time and discover events and attractions to visit in the local area.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Helen Connolly, Key Account Manager at Passenger says:<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-quote\">\r\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\r\n<p>\u201cIt has been a busy time for the team at East Yorkshire over the last year or so. The website relaunch was essential to ensure customers can see the new branding at every touchpoint and I\u2019m really pleased that we\u2019ve been able to deliver the project smoothly ahead of the September service changes. I\u2019m already looking forward to the next phase.
