These stations are where travellers can pick up or drop off the Beryl e-bikes from Chaddlewood to Riverside and Hooe to Southway.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1153\">E-bikes have been identified as a way to encourage lower-carbon travel behaviours and help to reduce the number of cars on the road. The ongoing collaboration between Passenger and Beryl aims to raise awareness of the growing range of convenient and accessible travel options available in Plymouth. By providing more flexible ways to complete the \u2018first and last mile\u2019 leg of journeys, more people can be empowered to choose alternative modes of transport to their cars.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1626\">Mark Collins, Head of Commercial at Plymouth Citybus, said: &#8220;We\u2019re delighted to be supporting the launch of Beryl e-bikes in Plymouth. Our passengers now have even more access to sustainable travel options at their fingertips. The availability of e-bikes to support their bus journey is now available in an app that\u2019s already downloaded and in daily use on their mobile phones.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1994\">There are now 125 bays now installed across the Beryl service area in Plymouth, including recently launched bays at the University of Plymouth, outside Plymouth Crown Court and The George Park and Ride. More bays will also be opening across Plymouth as the number of e-bikes available increases. New bays will automatically appear in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouthbus.co.uk\/app\">Plymouth Citybus app, and on its website<\/a>, as they come online.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2397\">Passenger Director of Product &amp; Design, Greg Hepworth, said: \u201cThe addition of e-bikes in Plymouth will really encourage the switch to public transport and away from their own cars as the available network of options increases. This is a fantastic addition to Plymouth and we\u2019re delighted to be able to support the cross-promotion of sustainable modes for Plymouth Citybus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2772\">Passenger now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masabi.com\/features\/micromobility\/\">integrates micromobility options including bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters with bus apps<\/a> in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Manchester, Nottingham, Southampton and Norwich.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Plymouth Citybus app and website updates aim to raise awareness of the growing range of convenient and accessible travel options available in Plymouth.
