We talked about why data is created and why it&#8217;s so important to the public transport sector.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Giuseppe and the DfT are now embarking on a review and redesign of NaPTAN, as we make the brains of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverpassenger.com\/2020\/07\/13\/passengers-bus-stop-checker-data-quality-tools-now-open-source\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\">Bus Stop Checker tool open source<\/a>, hoping to enable the teams working on NaPTAN\u2019s redesign to build on our analysis by being able to see the approach we took.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-html\">\r\n<div id=\"buzzsprout-player-4487084\"> <\/div>\r\n<p><script src=\"https:\/\/www.buzzsprout.com\/1007875\/4487084-ep-10-what-s-the-biggest-enabler-of-transport-innovation-today.js?container_id=buzzsprout-player-4487084&amp;player=small\" type=\"text\/javascript\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Giuseppe&#8217;s passion for data and open data is possibly unparalleled, so he was the perfect person to join us in pondering how we can use data to enable engagement and innovation across the public transport sector and beyond. <\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Making Passenger will be returning for a second series!
