In addition to live bus tracking, the new web to mobile eCommerce function means travellers can now access website purchased tickets on their mobiles. The operator\u2019s new and improved app also allows travellers to see up to date network information, in addition to buying tickets.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch comes as Warrington Borough Council develops the town\u2019s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP). All local authorities are required to have BSIPs in place by October 2021 as part of the government\u2019s National Bus Strategy, which aims to improve the quality of bus services and provision across the UK.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tom Quay, CEO at Passenger commented: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be working with Warrington\u2019s Own Buses in its efforts to get local people to \u2018Bus Back Better\u2019. Our companies align on the same values, as we encourage people to choose public transport as a first choice, and promote sustainable transport \u2013 with Warrington\u2019s Own Buses planning to introduce an all-electric bus fleet in the future.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"block-core-paragraph\">\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warrington\u2019s Own Buses operate over 85% of services and vehicles in Warrington.
